This notice supplements the Stairway Mortgage Privacy Policy and applies to Oregon residents under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (“OCPA”). It is issued by NEXA Mortgage LLC (NMLS #1660690), doing business as Stairway Mortgage. Last updated: October 24, 2026.
Information covered by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act or the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including most mortgage application and credit information, is protected under those laws and our Privacy Policy, not the OCPA. This notice covers the rest, such as website visits, app use, quote requests, marketing and advertising.
Your rights. Oregon residents may:
- confirm whether we process your personal data and get a copy of it;
- get a list of the specific third parties we have disclosed personal data to;
- correct inaccurate personal data;
- delete personal data, subject to legal exceptions; and
- opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
What we do. We collect and use personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal data for money. We use website and app tags and hashed customer lists with advertising platforms such as Meta and Google to show you our own ads, which the OCPA treats as targeted advertising. We do not use automated profiling to make lending decisions; underwriters make those decisions. We process sensitive data, such as race and ethnicity collected for federal reporting, only as the law requires or with your consent.
How to make a request. Email privacy@stairwaymortgage.com or call (954) 993-1625. To opt out of targeted advertising, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link at the bottom of our website; we also honor a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. You may use an authorized agent. We verify requests before acting and respond within 45 days, with up to 45 more days when reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you why.
Appeals. If we deny your request, reply to our decision or email privacy@stairwaymortgage.com with “Appeal” in the subject. We respond to appeals within 45 days. If you disagree with our answer, you may contact the Oregon Department of Justice.
